I am the owner and travel advisor behind Rooted Voyage Travel Co., and I created this business for moms just like me.

Before I ever planned trips for others, I was the mom staring at my screen wondering:

How do I make this fun for my kids and still enjoyable for me?

Traveling with kids can feel overwhelming, especially the first time. When you are trying to plan everything on your own, it is easy to second guess every decision and wonder if you are doing it right. I remember how nervous I was planning our first big trip, wanting it to be perfect but feeling unsure about where to even begin.

That experience is what led me to create Rooted Voyage. I wanted a way to help other moms feel calm, supported, and genuinely excited while planning trips with their families, not stressed or burnt out.

Just booked a week at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn for a family who wanted an easy, fun home base for park days. They’re staying in a 1-bedroom villa with a full kitchen, separate bedroom, and living space which gives them extra to spread out and relax after long Disney days! 💫

BoardWalk is such a fun spot on Crescent Lake with shops, restaurants, and that classic boardwalk vibe. The Luna Park Pool with its waterslide and kids’ play area is perfect for afternoon breaks. Plus, there are quieter pools when you just want to chill.

And the location is a dream! You can walk to Epcot and Hollywood Studios or hop on a boat right from the resort for an easy ride.

Flying with a stroller for the first time can feel overwhelming, but knowing what to expect at airport security makes all the difference.

You can push your stroller all the way to TSA, take your child out, and fold the stroller to go through the scanner (nothing inside). After security, use your stroller until boarding. You can gate check it and get it back right after landing, which is so helpful with young kiddos!

Mom tip: babywearing keeps your hands free and makes airport security with kids so much easier.
